Die JSR of Junior Stadsraad Vereniging bied aan leerders die geleentheid om vrywillig hulself, hul skool asook die gemeentskap verder te ontwikkel deur gemeentskapsdiens te doen en om leierskapservaring op te doen.

Bywoning van vergaderings is verpligtend.

Die is ‘n nie-wiinsgewende organisasie wat fokus op die opheffing van die mense en die omgewing van Gqerberha en het geen politieke affiliasie nie.

The JCC or Junior City Council of Societies serve to expand the JCC to all willing pupils at schools who seek the opportunity to further develop themselves, their schools as well as their community thus attain further community service and leadership experience.

Attendance of meetings are compulsory.
