Representative Council of Learners
Die Suid-Afrikaanse Skolewet 84 van 1996 (SASA) vereis die verkiesing van ‘n VRL by elke openbare skool. Die VRL bestaan uit leerders uit Graad 8 tot Graad 12, waarvan twee verkies word om op die Skoolbeheerliggaam. Die skool bied aan leerders die geleentheid om hul leierskapvermoë te ontwikkel deur projekte te reël en te bestuur. Hierdie projekte is daaroop gemik om samehorigheid en geesbou te bevorder, om bewustheid van mekaar te skep en ondersteuning aan die breër gemeenskap te bied.
The South African Schools Act 84 of 1996 (SASA) for the election of an RCL at every public school. The RCL consists of learners in Grades 8 to 12, of whom two are elected to serve on the School Governing Body (SGB).
At Andrew Rabie the learners serving on the council are given the opportunity to develop their leadership abilities by arranging and running projects. These projects are aimed at fostering cohesion, spirit building, creating awareness and offering support to the school and broader community.
